OTLP ingest contract
Owlpane exposes one public ingest gateway at ingest.owlpane.com. It accepts OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP) over HTTP and gRPC, plus Prometheus remote write and AWS Firehose delivery. Every request is authenticated with a project ingest key.

Authentication

Requests without a valid key are rejected with 401. Use one key per project and rotate it in Setup when you need to — see Ingest keys & authentication.
Header handling
Before telemetry is stored, the gateway strips query strings, cookies, and the authorization header. Only the OTLP body, the effective content type, and the key's project identity are carried forward, so the ingest key never becomes part of your stored data.
