With OTEL_METRICS_EXPORTER=otlp, Observability → Runtimes → Java can chart JVM memory, GC, and threads.

1. Start the app with the agent and env above.
2. Open Observability → Runtimes → Java.
3. Install a starter dashboard from Dashboards → Library.
