Azure Integration & Dashboards

1. Install the Dashboard Pack

Dashboards → Library — search Azure → install packs (Azure, Azure Loadbalancer, Frontdoor, …).
Or export the pack JSON from an existing workspace and import it.

Metrics: Deploy an Azure → Prometheus exporter in your subscription and scrape it from the agent:

Library logs_sql panels (FROM az_metrics): ship OTLP logs with attributes:

Attribute	Purpose
`metricname`	Azure metric name (e.g. `ByteCount`, `RequestCount`)
`maximum`	Numeric sample value

Any service.name is acceptable when both attributes are present. Map your Azure Monitor / collector pipeline accordingly.

Catalog → Azure — samples with cloud.provider=azure.
Logs — queries on virtual table az_metrics after log pipeline is wired.
Installed Azure dashboards — metric and SQL panels need matching telemetry types.
