Monitor PostgreSQL Metrics (Prometheus exporter) in Owlpane using pre-built starter dashboards and OpenTelemetry / OTLP ingestion pipelines.

1. Install the Dashboard PackCopy Anchor Link

1. Open the Owlpane console and navigate to Dashboards → Library (/observability/dashboards/library).
2. Search for PostgreSQL Metrics (Prometheus exporter).
3. Click Install to Dashboards on the desired pack to create a live copy in your workspace.

Alternatively, export the pack JSON from an existing workspace and import it via Dashboards → Import (/observability/dashboards/import).

2. Configure Telemetry IngestionCopy Anchor Link

Configure your OpenTelemetry Collector or Owlpane agent to forward PostgreSQL Metrics (Prometheus exporter) telemetry to your workspace OTLP endpoint.

3. Verify in ConsoleCopy Anchor Link

• Open Logs (/observability/logs) or Metrics (/observability/metrics) to confirm data is arriving.
• Open your newly installed PostgreSQL Metrics (Prometheus exporter) dashboard under Dashboards → My dashboards (/observability/dashboards) and select the appropriate template variables in the top bar.
